By using our website, you agree to abide by these terms of use, our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

  1. It is a requirement for Lauren’s insurance that you MUST complete a PARQ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) before participating in your first exercise video and update it anytime your health or medication changes.
  2. Payments are generated automatically with the monthly subscription so if a payment fails or you choose to cancel, you will not have access to your login to the website. You can re-join Cardiac Lauren at any time once payment has been received at the prevailing rate.
  3. Cardiac Lauren is based on an ongoing monthly subscription so membership cannot be ‘put on hold’ for holidays or injuries. If you cancel your membership you will need to restart payments by re-subscribing.
  4. We operate a fair refund policy, and provide live chat, phone and email support to resolve issues. Opening a formal payment dispute with our payment gateway or your bank/card provider will result in a lifetime ban and you agree to pay us a £30 chargeback fee per payment disputed in this way.
  5. Please be aware that the content in the videos should not be reproduced or shared.
  6. It is your responsibility to ensure:
  • there is sufficient space to perform the exercises safely and move freely without obstacles or obstructions, free from furniture, equipment and other hazards
  • you have access to a phone in an emergency
  • you are wearing loose comfortable clothing that is suitable for exercising in
  • you are wearing suitable footwear to support your ankles and feet
  • any equipment you use is safe and in a suitable condition for the activity being performed
  • the surrounding floor space is entirely clear so remove any hazards that may increase the risk of slips, trips or falls
  • there are no distractions throughout the duration of the session – including pets and children
  • there is sufficient heating, lighting, ventilation and hydration
  • when using a chair as a support aid or a piece of equipment for the exercise, it must be placed on a non-slip surface and in a secure manner so that it will not move when in use
  • it is imperative that you keep your feet moving throughout the video (from the start of the warm-up all the way through to the end of the cool-down)
  • make sure you exercise at your own speed – slow down if I am going too fast in the video
  • make sure you are familiar with the RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion) scale to ensure you are pacing yourself
  • if you have angina then you MUST have your GTN spray to hand and know how to use it
  • wait 1 hour after eating before exercising
  • contact me before you start a class if you have any new aches, pains or injuries or have any changes to your medication or heart condition that I need to be aware of

By choosing to participate in the Cardiac Lauren online exercise and physical activity videos by Lauren Walker you recognise that there is always an element of risk involved in any physical activity and you accept that undertaking and engaging in the session without supervision is done so at your own risk. If you feel discomfort or pain at any time during a video, you should cease the exercise and seek medical assistance as required. Your participation in the classes is entirely voluntary and you may opt out at any time.

You accept that Lauren Walker is not liable for any injury or harm sustained directly from the exercise and physical activity session.

If you received a BACPR Phase 4 Transfer Form, please forward it to Lauren Walker before starting any videos. You must also complete a PARQ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) before completing your first class or when your medication or health condition changes. This information will allow Lauren Walker to provide you with specific cardiac rehabilitation advice based on your answers.

If you have other pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may affect your ability to participate in online exercise and physical activity sessions, you should seek medical advice and obtain confirmation of your suitability to take part before participating from your GP, Consultant, Phase 3/4 Rehabilitation teams or another specialist referrer.

Where sessions are live or only accessible by the participant at the discretion of Lauren Walker, it is the participant’s responsibility to make Lauren Walker aware of any condition or injuries before participating in the live online exercise and physical activity session.
