Chicken Gyro Kebab Marinade


A flavour-packed, heart-healthy marinade that brings Mediterranean vibes to your kitchen. This Chicken Gyro Kebab recipe is light, zesty and full of goodness, perfect for grilling or baking. Ideal for a wholesome dinner that doesn't compromise on taste.
Ingredients
3 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
200g Greek yoghurt fat-free or full-fat up to you
2 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Pinch of black pepper
Pinch of Salt if you’re allowed
Method
- Cut the chicken into large chunks and put to one side.
- Combine the yoghurt with the cumin, coriander, paprika, allspice, garlic powder, salt and pepper, now add the chicken.
- Mix everything with your hands so the chicken is fully coated, cover and leave in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius
- Place the chicken on skewers, now place on a grill tray with a rack and cook for 15 minutes, make sure you turn halfway through cooking.
- Now turn your oven up high and cook for a further 5 minutes to give the chicken some nice crunchy bits.
- Serve with salad or create your own kebab with pitta, flatbread or a wrap and dress with a sauce of your liking if you want to.
