Thank you so much, Lauren and Michael – that was a really helpful and thorough explanation of the benefits of fasting and how to do it.
I’ve done quite a bit of fasting in the past, but find that it spikes my cortisol levels, encouraging spasms and angina, and I haven’t yet found a workaround for this issue.
Also, I’m an utter zombie in the morning (and for the rest of the day!) unless I have copious amounts of tea – I’ve tried it without milk, with lemon etc. but it’s foul! At the moment, I’m experimenting with motivational soundtracks and binaural beats, but I haven’t worked out how to break out of my exhausted state without caffeine in the mornings. If you have any suggestions I’d love to try them.
Hi Wendy, Michael asked if you are able to get your caffeine fix with ProPlus tablets. It might be worth discussing this with your Pharmacist or cardiologist first. Lauren

Thank you Lauren – that’s a great suggestion. I’ll check with my GP or pharmacist. ๐
